Registration Information for New and Returning Coaches
Please use these steps after you have been approved for coaching.
Coaches Registration Information
1. All coaches must complete a background screening form. Until the board president (Mike Corchran) or the Registrar receives word from the state screening committee that your background check has cleared, you may not associate with any players in any manner. That means you are not allowed on the ice, in the locker room, dryland training, or any other event.
2. All coaches must fill out a Waiver of Liability Form and a Consent to Treat Form.
3. You must be certified at the appropriate level for the age group/team you will be coaching for by December 31, 2009. If it is not completed by this date, you will taken off the roster and will not be allowed on the ice. Please contact (coaches coordinator) and he will help you obtain a CEP (coaching education program) card. You will be reimbursed for the coaches classes taken. Save your receipts. A copy of the card and your CEP number must be given to (registrar).
4. A copy of your current CEP card must be on file with (registrar).
5. CEP cards with 06-07 expire this year. If your card expires, you will need to be recertified.
